There are kinds of different countdown timers in the market. One of the most popular is LED Large Counter. This kind of counter doesn't only work as a countdown timer,but most of them works as a large wall clock, countdown and count up timer.
Here I am glad to introduce some of counters that we are making:
1. counts with days. This counter counts normally hours, minutes, seconds and days. Some people also call this counter as Julian date counter/clock. The format is always in
From its way of application, can be divided to indoor and semi-outdoor/outdoor type. Indoor timer is always made by 7 segment and outdoor is made by LED dots. From the digit size, we can tell it's normally 1.8", 2.3", 3" and 4". The most popular one is 4". Over 4" size, the counter is always made by LED dots and always turn to 5" and 8". Here following are two pictures to show 4" indoor type and 8" outdoor type 9 digits counters.
2. Hours Minutes format counter. This type is very alike or actually the same with time counter. So, it can also display times. Actually, the function always comes in three part: a. clock, to display hours and minutes; b. count up. normally count up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds; c. countdown. just opposite as the function b, it counts from 99 minutes 59 seconds down to 00 minutes 00 seconds. Here are two pictures in 2.3in and 4 inch high digit counters:
3. Hours Minutes Seconds format counter. This type is mainly used as wall clock as the one above. However, as other slightly used applications, this type also works as a counter too sometimes. Just put a couple of pictures down here.
4. Other counters. There are also other different types of counters works as countdown or count up timer. Some are only one digit to count down or up from 0 to 9, some are 2 digits, some 3 and some 4, etc. The counts can be second, minutes, hours or days, or controlled as you want when it needs to count.
